Flood Grant Data Tool

Impact – together, with our nonprofits partners, that’s what we have been able to do over the past two years, in the lives of Tennessee flood victims. The majority of the more than 100 area nonprofits awarded flood relief grant funding by The Community Foundation have concluded all work and used our grant funding to address a broad spectrum of needs, from rebuilding houses to providing furniture, as the effects of the flood on our community evolved over time. Learn more about a few of the stories of people in our community recovering from this disaster.

The nonprofit grant recipients continuing work to help flood survivors recover report regularly to The Community Foundation about the use of flood relief grant funding. With the tool below, track organizations which have grant balances and continue to serve the needs of flood survivors – grantees’ spending is detailed by category of need being addressed. The data represents grants made throughout the past two years from the Metro Nashville Disaster Response Fund, Tennessee Emergency Response Fund and/or The River Fund. Every individual Community Foundation flood grant, awarded since May 2010, can also be viewed in list form.

Since May 2010, The Community Foundation has tracked in detail the use of grant funding by every nonprofit recipient supporting flood relief. To see previous the tracking tool*, click here.
