Mayor also to Unveil New Online Tool for Use During Disasters
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – In advance of the second anniversary of the historic May 2010 flooding, Mayor Karl Dean will unveil a new online tool that will provide valuable information to the public during disasters. He will make the announcement at the Office of Emergency Management at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25.
Mayor Dean will be joined by Metro officials and representatives from non-profit organizations, who will provide updates on the city’s home-buyout program and on the community’s ongoing flood-recovery effort.
